Home to the iconic Power Station and Cats & Dogs Home, Battersea is a well-known and rapidly developing district in South West London. Backing on to the river in what is usually considered a more affluent part of London, there a pockets of significant deprivation - particularly in the Nine Elms area. Income inequality is therefore a prevalent issue.
Battersea Power community cricket sessions are predominantly for children attending Chesterton, Christ Church, Falconbrook, Griffin, Heathbrook, John Burns, Sacred Heart, St George's, St Mary's, Shaftesbury Park and Westbridge Primary Schools.
WINTER:
St John Bosco College, Parkham Street, SW11 3DQ.

Each week our coaches identify a PLAYER OF THE WEEK from the 4,000+ children we work with, as a recognition of their talent, efforts or improvement.
This week's PLAYER OF THE WEEK Award goes to Ali from King Solomon Academy in Marylebone, Westminster.
Despite never having played before, Ali has developed an infectious enthusiasm for cricket, supporting coaches & classmates alike.
