Bellingham and Downham are at the southern end of Lewisham, close to its border with the London Borough of Bromley. The wards of Bellingham, Downham and Whitefoot are very diverse and amongst the most deprived in Lewisham, with some of the poorest standards of health in London.
Bellingham Bats community cricket sessions are predominantly for children attending Athelney, Burnt Ash, Downderry, Elfrida, Forster Park, Good Shepherd, Haberdashers' Aske's Knights Academy, Launcelot, Rangefield, St Augustine, St John the Baptist and Torridon Primary Schools.
