Bethnal Green typifies London's East End with a history synonymous with poverty and crime - in particular for being home to notorious gangsters, the Kray Twins. Bethnal Green Tube Station was also the scene of the worst civilian disaster of the Second World War. Now it a popular, vibrant and multi-cultural area with a significant Bangladeshi community.
Bethnal Green Bulldogs community cricket sessions are predominantly for children attending Bangabandhu, Bonner (Bethnal Green), Globe, Hague, John Scurr, Lawdale, Mowlem, St Elizabeth, St John's, Stewart Headlam and William Davis Primary Schools.
