PLATFORM CRICKET's BIG GIVE CAmpaign
Background
We are delighted that The Childhood Trust has selected Platform Cricket as a partner charity in 2025.
The Childhood Trust believe that every child in London should have a healthy, happy and safe childhood so that all children are well prepared for life, breaking the cycle of poverty. We share this vision.
Campaign Areas of Focus
We are aiming to raise funds to help us maintain and grow our community cricket hubs in London: in particular, this campaign will support Hubs in Dollis Hill & Kilburn (Brent), Plumstead & Woolwich (Greenwich), Deptford & Brockley (Lewisham), Camberwell & Walworth (Southwark), Bethnal Green & Bow (Tower Hamlets), Pimlico & Victoria (Westminster). These include some of the most disadvantaged communities in the UK, with significant social challenges.
These hubs provide young people with a free and safe place to gain access to expert coaches/mentors, health & nutritional advice, learn key social skills and make new friends and connections within their community.
Donate
Our Big Give Campaign is open for donations between Tuesday 2nd (midday) and Tuesday 9th December (midday).
The Childhood Trust will donate £25,000 towards our work in these areas if we can raise £50,000 as part of our Big Give Campaign - and we are delighted to have already received £25,000 in pledges!

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Each week our coaches identify a PLAYER OF THE WEEK from the 4,000+ children we work with, as a recognition of their talent, efforts or improvement.
This week's PLAYER OF THE WEEK Award goes to Mali from Thornhill Primary School in Pentonville, Islington.
Mali has shown superb leadership with a great attitude, as well as being a naturally powerful batter and sharp fielder.
