Charlton is a culturally and economically diverse area in north-central Royal Greenwich. Charlton Village sits between a 15th Century Jacobean House, two large council estates and The Valley - home of Charlton Athletic Football Club. Much of the previously industrialised areas of Charlton adjacent to the River Thames have been replaced by a large retail park.

Charlton Cheetahs community cricket sessions are predominantly for children attending Charlton Manor, Cherry Orchard, Fossdene, Invicta (Blackheath), Our Lady of Grace, Sherington and Thorntree Primary Schools.

WINTER:
Thomas Tallis School, Kidbrooke Park Road, SE3 9PX.
SUMMER:
Charlton Park, Charlton Park Lane, SE7 8QU.

Each week our coaches identify a PLAYER OF THE WEEK from the 4,000+ children we work with, as a recognition of their talent, efforts or improvement.
This week's PLAYER OF THE WEEK Award goes to Nigel from Oak Gardens in New Cross, Lewisham.
Nigel is a natural athlete and despite never having played cricket before, he excelled in all skills and was a model student.
