HOW THE EVENT WORKS

For £2,000 a company or group buys one of eight team places in our Corporate 6-a-side tournament. Teams are allocated an ex-international star cricketer who will play with their team for the day. They are also provided with breakfast, lunch and a full table at our gala lunch, as well as getting free advertising space in our tournament brochure.

Additional lunch places are available at £1,000 per table. The dinner will include a 3 course dinner, wine, auction, raffle and Q&A with former West Indies International Chris Gayle.

PURPOSE OF THE EVENT

Our charity believes cricket can play an important role in the contemporary, often complicated, lifestyles of young people in London and we work with some of London’s most marginalised, vulnerable and disadvantaged children to support them through and in cricket. The programme is popular and effective, but we consistently encounter children and communities for whom we could do so much more.

This event will raise much needed funds for our cause:

- £35K enables us to employ a FT coach to manage 10 Hubs

- £6K enables us to run a single Hub for an entire year

- £500 enables us to support a player with a kit bursary

- £75 provides a coach with a set of kit needed for a Hub

Prime Sports & Media is a global marketing and talent management agency based in London, with an expertise in cricket. The company is delighted to be working with Platform Cricket to activate corporate London in supporting grassroots cricket in the capital.

The Chris Gayle Academy supports young people in cricket according to their social, educational (behavioral) or economic circumstances.

Blackheath Cricket Club is one of the leading cricket clubs in London. Formed over one hundred and fifty years ago and sporting a colourful history, Blackheath fields 7 league teams every Saturday, various XIs on a Sunday and operates an extensive youth section which aims to be fully reflective of its neighbouring communities in SE London.
