Traditionally home to some of the largest estates of council housing in London, Kidbrooke was characterised by deprivation throughout the late 20th century. In recent times, the expansive Ferrier Estate was demolished to make way for the "Kidbrooke Village" development which significantly altered the area.

Kidbrooke Kings community cricket sessions are predominantly for children attending Ealdham, Haimo, Henwick, Holy Family, Kidbrooke Park, St Thomas More and Wingfield Primary Schools.

WINTER:
Thomas Tallis School, Kidbrooke Park Road, SE3 9PX.
SUMMER:
Hervey Road Playing Fields, Hervey Road, SE3 8BU.

Each week our coaches identify a PLAYER OF THE WEEK from the 4,000+ children we work with, as a recognition of their talent, efforts or improvement.
This week's PLAYER OF THE WEEK Award goes to Daniel from St John's Walham Green Primary School in Fulham, Hammersmith & Fulham.
Daniel was excellent in his sessions last half term, showing great coordination in developing his own skills, but always helping classmates with theirs too.
