Become a member and support our work
The best way to help Platform Cricket's work is by becoming a member and joining the other wonderful people who support us through regularly giving.
We are incredibly proud of our members who raise vital funds to support the 20,000 children we help annually, creating a phenomenal impact in some of London's most disadvantaged communities.
Although our work brings us into contact with some of the most marginalised, vulnerable and disadvantaged children in the UK, the Platform Cricket project is still only reaching a fraction of its potential beneficiaries. On top of this, the cost of living crisis has made fundraising harder than ever in recent years.
Becoming a member couldn’t be easier, all you need to do is fill in the membership form.
In addition to knowing your money is going to help vulnerable children, you will also receive:
- Quarterly e-Platformnews with details of campaigns and projects
- Invitations to regional events
- A welcome gift
- Monthly membership draws to win tickets and other prizes
- Annual Platform Cricket report
- Being part of the Rugby community
There is no set amount for how much it costs to be a member but our usual recommendation is £10 a month.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Each week our coaches identify a PLAYER OF THE WEEK from the 3,000+ children we work with, as a recognition of their talent, efforts or improvement.
This week's PLAYER OF THE WEEK Award goes to Rakhman from St Luke's CE Primary School in Canning Town, Newham.
Rakhman is a talented cricketer with a positive attitude. He's demonstrated an enthusiasm for learning and helping others in his sessions this term.
